Amazon adds new convenience store in the company’s hometown

Amazon extended its convenience store, Amazon Go, a store without cashiers in the new Madison Centre office tower in the area of Fifth Avenue and Marion Street.

According to GeekWire, Amazon announced the second new store with a statement of “We are excited to bring Amazon Go to 920 5th Avenue in Seattle. The store will open in Fall 2018.” The company also has its slogan for the Amazon Go store “No lines. No checkout. (No, seriously.)” The first Amazon Go, that was started last January 2018 at the Amazon’s new headquarters on Seventh Avenue, has 1,800 square feet while the new store has 3,000 square feet which is almost twice size of the first store.

Amazon announced that they were going to have six more stores this year and the upcoming expansion of Amazon Go to San Francisco and Chicago. The other countries have not yet released.
