Amazon announces the upgraded Alexa for Windows 10 computers

Mariel van Tatenhove, Principal of Business Development, Alexa Voice Service at Amazon, announced the updated Alexa for PC specifically to Windows 10 computers.

Amazon has released four Windows 10 computers, one computer from Wistron Corp. and a convertible notebook from Compal Eletronics, Quanta Computer Inc., and Wistron Corp. for the portfolio of Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) solutions.

Wistron’s All in one PC has a 27 inch display and an FHD webcam with IR sensor. It has a two stereo speaker and four MEMs microphones. The convertible notebook of Compal has 15.6 inch FHD display with touch and an HD webcam. It has a battery capacity of up to 13 hours of usage with a fingerprint lock and IR camera. It also includes quick turn-knob and stylus with four microphones and two 2W speakers integrated that is good for gamers, multimedia, and Alexa.  The convertible notebook of Quanta has 14 inch FHD display with fingerprint sensor and four digital microphones and two 2W speakers for Alexa. The capacity of its battery is up to 18 hours of usage. The convertible notebook of Wistron has 15.6 inch FHD display for the smart office. It has HD webcam, four MEMs microphones, and two stereo speakers. The capacity of battery is up to 8 hours usage.

This announcement was released last June 5 through Amazon Alexa’s updates.
