Amazon’s spokesperson told Bloomberg about their top-secret project: building a domestic robot known as Vesta, named after the ancient roman goddess of hearth and home.
Amazon is still unsure about the exact functions of this robot. It could be helping with household chores like cleaning the house, rooming the house, and serving the customers in their room. In addition, they want to include an advanced camera and sensors that may improve the robot. This would be very useful to the consumers and because of that, the demand for such would be greater.
They might also try to test it at an employee’s house when they have finished building Vesta. The estimated worth of Vesta would be US$15 billion a year by 2023 according to Research and Markets and started about US$5.4 billion this 2018.
