CES 2019: SanDisk reveals its prototype flash drive and a new portable SSD

SanDisk showed a new prototype flash drive at CES 2019, which is said to be the “world’s highest capacity USB drive on the market”.

The upcoming prototype flash drive of SanDisk has a total of 4TB storage and a USB Type-C connector that will help users to transfer their files in a short period of time. SanDisk has not yet confirmed the price and release date of the new flash drive.

SanDisk is also introducing its Extreme Pro Portable SSD, which is made to give a total of 1GB per second transfer speed. The SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD has three storage options which are 500 GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The new portable SSD includes Blazing-fast performance, rugged design with purpose-built materials, lightweight and pocket sized, universal compatibility, and the company offers three-year limited warranty. SanDisk has not yet released the prices of the product.

The company said that the upcoming devices will launch this year.
