Facebook has reorganized its executives

Mark Zuckerberg announced that he was going to rearrange the major leaders in WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook’s core app.

WhatsApp’s leader, Chris Daniels will be the VP of Facebook’s Internet.org because CEO Jan Koum had left the company last week. All product of Facebook’s core apps is lead by the one of Cox’s top product lieutenants, Will Cathcart. The new team exploring blockchain technology will be run by the head of Facebook’s messaging app, Messenger, David Marcus. Messenger’s team is now headed by Stan Chudnovsky, a head of product in the same app.

Instagram will be headed by Adam Mosseri, who runs News Feed on Facebook while the current VP product of Instagram, Kevin Weil will lead the blockchain team on Facebook. CTO Mike Schroepfer will manage “New platforms and infra”. These update is given by Recode. These new heads in different teams will have their different bosses as well.
