According to Sound & Vision, LG reports the 2018 AI ThinQ TV is now working with Alexa voice commands.

The AI ThinQ supports Alexa together with Google Assistant voice control. Users are able to command different TV functions including adjusting volume, start, stop, play, pause, changing its channel, searching for content and fast forward controls in set-top boxes with DVR functionality.

Furthermore, LG’s AI ThinQ features OLED TV and Super UHD TV. It includes Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Echo Dot, Echo Spot and Echo Plus that are connected to Alexa-enabled devices.

LG is now replacing the new Alexa skill as “LG SmartThinQ Skill,” and all the various smartphones, headphones, and Android TV will be able to control and command language by using the microphone in remote control.
