According to Windows Central, their source told them that Microsoft Store will include apps for downloading Movies.
Microsoft has already Movies & TV but, it is only available on the Windows 10 desktop, Xbox, and Windows 10 mobile. The company is planning to launch this for both iOS and Android devices for the increase of customers in buying content in Microsoft Store. These apps will reduce the barrier between people who only use Android or iOS devices. The upcoming date will offer more of people’s want because most people are using streaming app like Netflix.
Similar to the partnership of the company with Spotify after the Groove Music Pass was ended; people are expecting that Microsoft will have its own Movies & TV apps for Android and iOS device.
The company has not yet confirmed the release date and information about this upcoming update.
