In Twitter’s new platform, subscribers with their followings and followers’ shared news links will be in a group along with their tweets of the links. The users can easily find current and trending news in their timeline.
Twitter revealed the news-related features and dedicated News Tab back in 2015. Last month, Twitter established an algorithm about news trending from news organizations in the subscribers’ timeline. Now, this feature was reported by BuzzFeed News last 28th of April.
Twitter is still focusing on news that can help them make an experience among its subscribers. This grouped link news is now available in iOS, Android and web platforms, confirmed by a Twitter spokesperson to Buzzfeed News. This feature is more focused in news. Twitter has not yet confirmed if this new platform is worldwide or a limited test.
