Panasonic reveals the first new full-frame mirrorless camera system

Panasonic introduced their two new models of its first Digital Single Lens Mirrorless Camera which is also the world’s first support for 4K 60p/50/ video recording.

The two models of Panasonic are LUMIX S1R and the S1, both models have a 35 mm full-frame image sensor and are provided with the Dual I.S image stabilization system. The LUMIX S1R and S1 will be the first models that will use Leica’s L-Mount Lenses or lenses that also have the specifications of the L-Mount. The S1R have a resolution of 47 megapixels and the S1 have 24 megapixels. The cameras will have expressive capabilities with a high level of expression achieved with the latest-developed 35 mm full-frame image sensor and image processing engine. The cameras also include two slots for XQD memory card and SD memory card.

The upcoming models will launch on the global market early next year.
