MoviePass, an American subscription-based movie ticketing service, issued a refund for all the users who experienced an outage last Friday night.
MoviePass posted to their Twitter account that they already have a full resolution of the issue and users may check their accounts. The app assured the users who purchased tickets that they will issue the refund by asking the users to send an email to their account with the full receipt or stubs which includes the movie title, showtime, and theater for reimbursement. The user was also advised to update the app to its latest version that the company has rolled out for preventing the outage issue. The company helps those users who need check-in assistance that night.
The company gave thanks to all the users for their patience and understanding as the company resolved the issue.
