Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, told The Verge that Uber wants to extend their scope from cars to broader mobility.

Uber deals with the manufacturers of the upcoming flying car with its electric vehicle battery and charger. Khosrowshahi confirmed that they already have partners for this project. Embraer is one of the larger companies that Uber has partnered with for the services of the product. Flying cars are not only for the rich but also to all the commuters that use land transportation. Uber added that they want a vehicle that can fly up 60 miles at 1,000 feet in height with the single battery charge.

Uber plans to test the product in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Dubai, if the proposal has been accepted by 2020. By 2023, their goal is to launch this service.
