Developer Guilherme Rambo, confirmed the new setup feature on iPad yesterday on his official twitter account with a video attachment.

The new Face ID setup is an unlock feature where the device will have facial recognition of users and it will be the lock of selected options which are iPad unlock, iTunes & App Store, and Password AutoFill. This is for the users’ security because iPad is a device which family typically share.

Users can access this new feature by clicking “Set Up Face ID” option on the Settings and they will have to follow the instructions given by the device on its setting where the users will move their head according to the guidelines.

The new update was launched in iPad and the company has not yet confirmed if this feature will be available in other Apple devices. The upcoming new iPad will already have this feature.
