Apple releases the updated version of its watchOS in Europe

Apple launched its new watchOS version in Hong Kong and 19 countries of Europe with the ECG app that has been launched in the US last year.

The new watchOS 5.2 will include irregular heartbeat sensor features and ECG app. The user will need to tap the device’s Digital Crown to access the ECG app, which is similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. According to Jeff Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Apple, the app and irregular rhythm notification of Apple Watch include a meaningful impact on its users in the US, which the first country that has the updated watchOS. The company is very excited to launch new features in Europe and Hong Kong that will help users more knowledge about their current health.

The new update is now available in Europe countries such as Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
