Google is introducing a new option on their Calendar service that lets users indicate an event that is “Out of Office” to better ensure your free time after work.

To pick the option, go on Google Calendar and select the “Out of Office” entry on your preferred time and date. From there, Google Calendar will block any work-related events occurring at that time. “Going forward, Google Calendar will try to intelligently detect, based on the title entered, when you’re creating an out of office object and change the type automatically. You can always manually change this if you’d like to opt for a different entry type,” read the announcement from the company’s G Suite blog.

A smaller option was also added to restrict your working hours, by declining meetings past these hours and informing them that you will be unavailable by then. The features will roll out in the coming days.
