Nothing, a London-based startup, announced on Thursday that it will launch its new smartphone, Nothing Phone 2a Plus, on July 31. This is an upgraded version of None Phone 2a, launched in March.

Features of the new Nothing 2a Plus

The new Nothing Phone 2a plus isn’t very detailed, but since it’s a “Plus”, we may see some changes to the display and battery.

Phone 2a Plus might not have a new processor to distinguish it from its predecessor Phone 2a.

Nothing Phone 2a was launched for mid-segment buyers. It has a 6.7″ AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,300nits. It was priced at Rs 23,999 for 8GB/128GB.

Phone 2a was powered by a MediaTek Diminsity 7200Pro SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Nothing Phone 2a has two 50MP cameras on the back, and a 32MP front camera. The battery is a 5,000mAh and the charger supports 45W. It’s not included in box.

The optical setup in Phone 2a Plus is also expected to be slightly altered by Nothing.

The Phone 2a Plus is expected to be priced under 25k, as it targets the same users in the mid-segment.
