Spotify is rumored to have a new feature which will help users to stop playing a specific artist they don’t want to listen.
According to the report of Mehedi Hassan on Thurrott, Spotify will include a new option that will let users to block any artist on the app. Users will have an access to block music from the artist they don’t like such as artist on their personal library, playlists, automatically curated playlists, charts, and radio. The public playlists, algorithm-generated playlist and global charts will be able to skip the blocked artist. The block button is located in the menu at the middle of Like button and share button. Users will also have an option if they want to unblock the artist.
The upcoming block button is now testing on a few numbers of iOS users. The company has not yet confirmed the testing date of the upcoming feature on Android users and its launch date.
