iPhone 14 Pro Max has undoubtedly been dominating the smartphone market and is currently the best one there. However, ever since last September, people who aren’t keen on buying an iPhone 16 or can’t afford such a hiked price have been going for iPhone 13, that is if they are okay with the non-Pro phones. This is also because the fact that iPhone 14 doesn’t have any exciting changes worth raving about.

At this point, maybe waiting for a few months might be a wise decision – as neither iPhone 13 nor iPhone 14 Pro are really what was expected of them. The iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Pro are about 5 months away and Apple has given us a good few reasons to wait for them.

1. The Current Phone Cycle is Nearing Its End

Apple is known for retaining prices for iPhones from customers from the day enter the market to the day they are discontinued, which in turn makes it difficult not to pay the full price even if it’s at the end stages of its life!

A rule one should religiously follow is avoiding the purchase of a new iPhone past February or March unless absolutely necessary. This is because of the amount one would pay for an iPhone 14, one can easily get their hands on the next generation iPhone 15 in the fall! If not in a rush, waiting might just be the best thing one can do.

2. All iPhone 15 Models Could Feature The Dynamic Island

Apple has ditched their controversial notch for the first time since the launch of the iPhone 14. This was done in the favour of the new Dynamic Island. It’s obviously expected that this new display cutout is exclusive to the Pro variants. iPhone 14 however doesn’t have this perk. The Dynamic Island lives up to its rave of being ‘magical’ as it’s handy with its intuitive shortcuts.

Said Dynamic Island is rumoured to make said debut on the non-pro phones sometime around September. So if one waits just a little longer you can get your hands on this fabulous display all for yourself on a non-pro phone. If you can’t wait and are a little pocket heavy, you can get the Pro series which already has them installed.

3. Apple Could Finally Strike Its Lightening Port

A large number of people don’t upgrade their iPhones every single year. It’s no lie that Apple products can last you for years on end, especially with Apple’s commitment to the software department. If you’re one of those who update their system once every several years, iPhone 15 might be your best buddy as Apple is finally letting go of the Lightening Port, in favour of the universally adopted USB type C port.

This also means that all Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads and even Macbooks will finally share the same charging cable. The hassle of 100 different plugs for 100 different products has come to an end. It has also been reported that these USB Type C ports will work on a good few Android devices too. If one is exclusively dependent on MagSafe charging and loves every aspect of wireless data transfer, then however this particular feature might not be for you.

4. Pro iPhone 15 Varient Could Get A Fresh Exterior

If you have your eyes set on iPhone 14 Pro, then you might want to reconsider your choices. Typically, as per statistics, Apple has always introduced a main chassis design change at the interval of 3 years or so. The Pro series has looked pretty darn identical to each other since iPhone 12 Pro. This model featured a boxed, stainless steel exterior and the with respect to the timing, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max might just come with an external change or two.

These premium phones, according to reputable leakers, may have a more curved edge, making them more comfortable to grip. Furthermore, they may feature thinner display bezels, allowing for greater screen real estate. Finally, Apple may discontinue the usage of stainless steel in favour of a titanium body. Because titanium does not show scratches as easily as stainless steel, you may wish to hold off on purchasing the new and improved outer shell.

5. The iPhone 15 Pro Max Could Pack a Periscopic Lens

If you’re considering purchasing an iPhone 14 Pro Max, the fifth and final point is for you. If the aforementioned design changes, the addition of a USB Type-C port, or the end of the iPhone 14 life cycle haven’t totally convinced you, you might be interested in learning about this iPhone 15 Pro Max exclusive. According to speculations, this device will just have a periscope lens. Better optical and digital zoom features could be used. The leaks point to 6x optical zoom, a significant improvement over the 3x available on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. So, if you take a lot of images, you might want to wait a few months for an updated camera system at a comparable price.

Is This The New Beginning of Apple’s iPhones?

The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro are expected to include a slew of noteworthy updates and improvements, with all models enabling Dynamic Island and transitioning to USB Type-C. Not to mention that the Pro models could get a redesign, and the Pro Max variant could have a better zoom. So, by waiting a little longer, you may be able to avoid buyer’s remorse, as the forthcoming package will most likely be substantially larger than the current one. If one iPhone is broken and of no use and they are in desperate need of a new handset, they can go for the iPhone 14 or iPhone 13 series. It’s still recommended to completely avoid the non-pro models of the same-said series.
