7-Eleven brings a new digital payment offer to its US branch stores

7-Eleven announced that smartphone and smartwatch user can now avail in their convenient store because of the new offers which are Apple Pay and Google Pay.

According to Gurmeet Singh, CDO and CIO of 7-Eleven, “Frictionless experiences are the future, and digital payments are keys to such experiences. Consumers prefer shopping at retailers that offer digital payment capabilities”. He also added “as well as the technologies that work behind the scenes to ensure seamless and effortless interactions. We continue to transform our business through digital, and these additional mobile payment options are the latest enhancements we have added to our in-and-out-of-store customer experiences.”

For Apple Pay and Google Pay, users will have to have an account so that they can receive all rewards and benefits offered by debit or credit cards. They can use it online and in store.

The new offers will launch this month. The company has not yet confirmed the release date.
