A New Tablet Launched By Teclast In China Features Android 14 As Well As 499 Yuan ($70) Starting Price

Teclast unveiled the Teclast P30T, a low-cost tablet, earlier this month. This tablet has now been officially introduced in China, and the price has been confirmed. Teclast has also stated that it would ship with the Android 14 software update pre-installed. The tablet costs 499 Yuan ($70) and is available for purchase.

In terms of specifications, the Teclast P30T tablet has a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280800. TDDI technology is used on the screen to improve visual clarity and touch responsiveness. It also has a touch sampling rate of 120Hz and a viewing angle of 178°, ensuring a smooth and immersive viewing experience.

The P30T does not disappoint in terms of design. Its metal body, polished in a sleek celestial grey colour, gives it an exquisite appearance while being lightweight at 440g. The straight-edge design not only enhances the appearance but also offers a comfortable grip.

The gadget is powered by the Allwinner A523 CPU, an octa-core A55 configuration clocked at 1.8GHz. This is combined with 4GB of RAM that can be expanded to 6GB virtual RAM. The tablet comes with a huge 128GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.

The tablet has AI dual cameras with 5MP and 2MP rear cameras, as well as dual stereo speakers. The Teclast P30T tablet has strong connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, allowing for fast and reliable internet and device connections. It also has a large 6000mAh battery.

The firm has also revealed Android 14 for this tablet, which is presently being rolled out and includes a slew of new features. This new version features screen time parental controls, a redesigned app drawer, mandatory landscape orientation mode, a multitasking taskbar, a PC-like professional mode, and the most recent Android security updates.
