Following iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 pro max which have comparatively smaller borders, iPhone 16 pro and iPhone 16 pro max is all set to debut in early September,2024 with more advanced features.
Reports and speculations suggest that Apple iPhones aim to be the best in the market with its premium design featuring thinner bezels and compact control circuitry. The iPhone 16 pro and iPhone 16 pro max will be the first series to be compatible with iOS 18 which will witness AI integration and advanced AI features in terms of functionality.
An Upgraded Display
Rumour has it that iPhone 16 pro and iPhone 16 pro max will have an upgraded display, with a 6.3 inch screen and a 6.9 inch screen, respectively. However, the overall size of the device is not expected to grow since the reduction in the size of bezels will accommodate the increased display screen. Korean publication, The Elec reports that a new display technology called the Border Reduction Structure (BRS) will make the reduction in bezel size possible.
Two new color options
For the iPhone 16 pro series, Apple is supposed to debut two brand new color options namely – space black which will match the new MacBook Air M3 and rose titanium which,like iPhone 14 Pro series, will reintroduce the golden shade.
Better cameras
According to several speculations, iPhone 16 pro is supposed to imbibe a tetra prism telephoto lens. While on the other hand, iPhone 16 pro max might allow magnification upto 300mm with an even bigger telephoto lens. For the very first time, Apple might start supporting 8K video recording on iPhone 16 pro.
