Amazon is giving customers another choice for the second-generation Echo to promote the prevention of AIDS through the Global Fund.
The new RED edition of Echo 2nd Generation has an access to connect with Alexa to play music, make calls, set music alarms and timers, and manage smart home devices. Users will need to command Echo for a song, playlist, or genre from Amazon music, Spotify, and Pandora. Echo devices can be used for music in different rooms. Not only music, but Echo can also play audiobooks, radio stations, and news briefs. The new device has a Dolby processing for crisp vocal and dynamic bass response. It includes seven microphones, beamforming technology, and noise cancellation. With Alexa, users can control other devices such as lights, TV, request an UBER, and order foods.
The Echo 2nd Gen is now available for pre-orders with a starting price of $99.99. The company confirmed that the release date of the new device will release on December 5th.
