According to the report of CNBC, Amazon is said to be doubling down on its devices that are supported by Alexa.

Amazon will launch new eight Alexa-powered devices which are microwave oven, an amplifier, a receiver, a subwoofer, and an in-car gadget according to the people who have knowledge about the issue. Some of the upcoming devices will be introduced by the company later this month. The number of devices will have a built-in Alexa and some will need to connect with other Alexa-enabled devices for accessing voice control.

Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s CEO said last July in a statement “There are now tens of thousands of developers across more than 150 countries building new devices using the Alexa Voice Service, and the number of Alexa-enabled devices has more than tripled in the past year.”

The company refused to comment about the matter.
