Amazon, the global e-commerce giant, plans to enter the Indian market with a new section specifically designed for budget-conscious shoppers. The new section, called Amazon Bazaar, offers affordable unbranded fashion and lifestyle items, including clothing, watches, shoes, jewelry, and luggage, all priced below ₹600.

This move by Amazon is a strategic diversification of its offerings, as the demand for mainstream products is slowing down, and the company’s own growth rate is decreasing. Amazon Bazaar is a direct response to the success of similar market segments explored by competitors such as Meesho and Flipkart’s Shopsy. Mukesh Ambani’s Ajio Street is also in development, striving to cater to cost-conscious consumers.

Amazon Bazaar will feature a wide range of clothing options without brand labels. Shoppers can explore budget-friendly fashion choices from trendy tops to comfortable bottoms. If you are looking for a stylish and affordable timepiece, Amazon Bazaar will have you covered with watches priced below ₹600 that combine functionality with affordability. Whether it’s casual shoes, jewelry, or travel-friendly luggage, Amazon Bazaar promises to offer these essentials at wallet-friendly prices.

Unlike some other platforms, Amazon Bazaar won’t charge sellers any additional fees when they list their unbranded products. This move is a win-win situation for both sellers and budget-conscious buyers, as the former can reach tens of millions of potential customers without worrying about referral charges.

It’s worth noting that products sold through Amazon Bazaar may have a slightly longer delivery schedule, typically ranging from two to three days, which ensures affordability and accessibility for shoppers. Despite not being as fast as Amazon’s lightning-fast delivery, it’s still a great trade-off.
