WWDC 2018: Apple updates automatic workout detection and more to WatchOS 5

Apple WatchOS 5 will release new features within this year. It added to support health and fitness tracking.

In addition, Apple WatchOS 5 allows the users to communicate with their friends by sending them a voice message and the receiver can also respond with an audio clip by using WiFi or LTE connectivity called “Walkie-Talkie”.

Work out detection will automatically track fitness and health condition which will give reminders to the users to start the workout and to prompt users to end sessions when forgotten to turn off. The feature can also track the steps of both indoor and outdoor and runs outdoor.

New Siri supports the third party app which will be added in iOS 12. It works such as sports, maps and heart rate.

Apple will require students to add Student ID supported by the Apple Wallet with selected universities.
