Apple’s self-driving program is slowly growing, with the company now having 55 vehicles registered to the California Department of Motor Vehicles. MacReports notes that Apple now has the second-largest autonomous driving fleet in California, General Motors’ Cruise leading with 104 cars.

Just earlier this year, Apple’s fleet had only grown to a total 27 and three last year. Apple has surpassed other companies including Waymo, which has 51 registered cars. All registered cars under the self-driving car companies are given permits by the DMV to test autonomous driving cars with safety drivers behind the wheel. The DMV has yet to issue any permits allowing completely driverless testing.

MacReports also reported 83 registered Apple safety drivers.
