Astell & Kern together with the renowned German manufacturer Beyerdynamic launched a headphone with an OCC hybrid detachable balance headphone cable.
The new AK T5p 2nd Generation has a frequency response of 5 up to 50,000 Hz and a dynamic transducer type. The cable of the AK T5p 2nd Gen has a 1.4m with 4N pure silver and 7N OCC Copper hybrid 2.5mm 4-pole cable. The connection includes 2.5mm balanced, 3.5mm jack plug, and 6.35mm adaptor. The impedance has 32 Ω with a nominal sound pressure level of 102 dB. The power handling capacity has 300mW. The headphone has a 340g weight without cable.
A&K said “With the help of Tesla technology, our hi-fi headphones are equipped with new sound transducers that have the power of more than one Tesla,” the company added “he tilted shape of the sound transducers produces a fascinatingly spatial and transparent sound – for a dynamic and authentic musical experience.”
The company is expected to produce 1,000 models with a starting price of $1,199. It was confirmed that the device will release in the coming months.
