Artificial intelligence appears to have advanced to the point that it can now contend with actual human artists with minimal effort, sparking a heated debate about the subject of art today.

Presenting Bicasso!

Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange globally, has an AI art generator called Bicasso. The smooth NFT minting that is made possible by Bicasso sets it apart from other AI art engines. That way, you may mint your masterpiece as an NFT and start making money off of it as soon as you finish it. Creating art and minting it as an NFT were once two separate steps that required a lot of time and two different platforms.

The test launch of Bicasso, with a 10,000 coin mint limit, was announced on Twitter by Binance CEO. The reaction that Bicasso received from people all around the world was something that its backend was unprepared for. Many people complained about it on Twitter after it crashed frequently. That being said, the 10,000 NFTs that might have been mined in a record 2.5 hours did not halt due to this glitch.

Due to the success of this launch, many are praising CZ as a marketing genius. By only producing 10,000 mints, he was able to artificially manufacture demand, and the minor setback only served to increase web impressions and awareness of the product.

How Would Bicasso Operate?

The picture generator functions somewhat similarly to other AI tools that are now in use, such as Dall-E, Nightcafe, Jasper, Midjourney, and so on. To get the generator going in the right creative direction, all you need to do is give it some hints. Another option is to write a description of the desired result. After that, just press the “generate” button and watch as Bicasso creates a work of art.

In order to use an image with the generator, you may also upload one. Using the written cues you supply, Bicasso will improve the image and give you a result. You can add more instructions to Bicasso to fine-tune the outcome if you’re not entirely satisfied with the final product.

To produce a tokenized version of your artwork on the Binance Smart Chain, simply select the “mint” option after you are completely pleased with the artwork.

But now that the initial mint is over, the platform is merely a registration page for a waitlist, waiting to be updated when the next test or the public release of the complete version takes place. As a result, even though Bicasso is no longer able to be used to build AI-generated NFTs, you can still join the waitlist and be granted access once Bicasso is operational once more.

To sum up

With the introduction of Bicasso, it is evident that NFTs and AI are currently receiving a lot of public attention. Already, technologies such as ChatGPT and Bard are able to replace specific vocations in addition to passing human qualifications and degrees.

A few years ago, everyone would have assumed that technical and analytical positions would be the first to be affected by AI. The item that doesn’t get old or put things off is unexpectedly giving the creatives a run for their money these days. Bicasso has taken a step toward a future in which the exact role of humans remains uncertain.
