One of the largest health platforms of India is Healthify which has over 40 million users. This brand has been using artificial intelligence to make their health coaching innovative and enhanced.

How is Healthify incorporating AI to surpass human accuracy?

Tushar Vashisht, CEO of health app Healthify said, “We help people collect their nutrition, fitness, steps, sleep, heart rate data, and then we process all these signals with technology, with AI, and we also use human coaches to drive accountability.”

The health app has over 40 million users right now and has been using AI to accomplish their mission to “Healthify a billion people”. Open AI made the GPT-4 vision broadly available on April 10 through an announcement. As a part of the announcement, the AI starter has highlighted Healthify’s innovative application of artificial intelligence to showcase nutritional analysis from meal photos through a feature called Healthify SNAP 2.0.

“We surpass human accuracy today. So if you just take a photograph, we’ll track it for you in a single shot,” Tushar Vashisht stated. He also added – “We were the first in the world to develop a consumer-facing AI solution in 2019. At that point, there were no other consumer-facing AI solutions at scale. The CEO tells Indian Express, “This year we’ll probably end up helping about 10 million pounds of weight being lost…which is about, risk-adjusted, almost a million lives saved.”

The company has been incorporating AI technology in the health coaching space from the very beginning. According to Vashisht, Healthify was the first in the world to develop a consumer facing AI solution through its virtual coaching assistant Ria which was introduced in 2019 with the help of powerful language models like GPT 4.
