Apple’s next-gen ‘budget’ phone, iPhone SE 4, is reportedly planning to bring in notable upgrades in several areas such as performance and design. Here’s everything we know so far about iPhone SE 4.

More about the upgrades in iPhone SE 4

The Cupertino based tech giant had experienced a fall in people’s interest in the ‘mini’ series launched by them. iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini are the least sold phones by the tech giant. However, Apple has been reportedly working on the iPhone SE 4 and is set to bring in various alterations. May it be the display and the design or an upgraded camera, iPhone SE 4 has it all.

iPhone SE 4 – Advanced Camera and Upgraded Processor

Unlike the iPhone 13 series which accompanied the debut of Bionic A15 -Apple’s in-house developed chipset, the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly feature Bionic A16, which provides a much faster and smoother experience. Bionic A16 powers iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 non-pro models.

In case of the camera, iPhone SE 4 is said to feature a singular camera just like the previous ones. However, rumors say that Apple might go for a 48MP camera sensor. This will be a huge upgrade from the 12MP shooter of the current iPhone SE 2022.

Better Design and Bigger Display

iPhone SE 4 will feature a new and a bigger display of 6.1 inch with full HD resolution. According to a recent leak from 91Mobiles , the touch ID button might be discarded by Apple in favour of face ID authentication. The notch of iPhone SE 4 will be similar to the iPhone 13 and 14 series. Some dummy images hint at iPhone SE 4 supporting wireless charging through Magsafe.

Price and Launch Date

Reportedly, iPhone SE 4 is still in the early stages of development. If the reports and rumours are to be believed, it will be launched sometime this year itself. There will be a significant price hike with Apple incorporating advanced features, a modern design and better face ID support.
