Facebook creates new feature for political demands in the US

Facebook is releasing a new feature that will help users in requesting for a change from their local and national elected officials and government agencies in the US, as reported by TechCrunch.

The upcoming Facebook Community Actions feature will let users to see political petitions to their News Feed. The Creator will have an ability to post a description, putting an image, tagging the related politicians or government agencies and viewing a support roll in. The Community Actions feature has a goal that will help the post to go viral and all the people who will click the “Support” button will help the creator. The new tool is created for preventing misinformation and promoting positive expression. It also includes a discussion feed which will give users an opportunity to leave comments, create fundraisers, and organize an event for the promotion.

TechCrunch confirmed that Facebook will start rolling out the new feature in the US tomorrow.
