According to the report on The Verge, Facebook launched a new standalone app for short-form, entertaining videos.
The new app Lasso helps users to easily create and share short clips with effects that can be searched. Lasso has four special features such as “cool camera tools and effects” that includes high quality, “a massive music library” which is said to be one of the biggest music libraries and includes pop hits, vintage classics, and any type of music that can be used on the user’s video, “the latest hashtags and challenges” which may help users to discover trending videos, and last, “share directly to your story” that lets users to connect their Facebook accounts so that they can post their videos to their story in just one click.
The new app is now available for both iOS 9.0 or later and Android devices.
