Facebook added a new feature on Messenger which users can connect their Instagram account into the app.
Instagram users can choose an option whether they want to have a copy of their contacts into their Messenger account or not. The new option can access by users in the caption “People” of the Messenger. The subscribers need to select the option “Sync Instagram Account” so that they can connect their Instagram account and search people they know. The username and account of their Instagram will be able to see by the friends or connected people on Messenger. This update was observed by Jane Manchun, a computer science student, and posted it on her Twitter account with a screenshot and a caption of “Facebook Messenger is testing (?) syncing with Instagram account”.

According to TechCrunch, a Twitter user in the US complained about the new feature because when he tapped the new option, it was automatically added all of his Instagram friends on his Messenger account.
