Facebook unveils its first 6DoF All-in-One VR System

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that they will launch their first headset which is introduced by Oculus.

The new Oculus Quest will complete Facebook’s first generation of Oculus devices and this product includes “the key attributes of the ideal VR system”. The new device offers touch controllers that will help users to play into the action without the connection of computer, wires, and external sensors. It has four wide-angle cameras which are preparing positional tracing that allows users to walk through virtual space. The resolution of the device has a 1600 x 1400 per eye and an option that will let users to adjust its lens spacing. It includes built-in speakers and “arena-scale” tracking up to 4,000 square feet distance.

The Oculus Quest will launch in Spring next year and the price starts with $399 USD. The company has not yet announced more information about the upcoming device.
