With the recent launch of the Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch Fossil has added a new member to its family of smartwatches. The smartwatch series focuses on integrating the functions of smartwatches with the design language of classic watches.

Specs and Features:

This new Gen 6 Hybrid Smartwatch comes with a plethora of features such as built in Alexa support. This will make most of the daily chores easier for almost everyone by giving voice inputs through the microphone on the smartwatch. This also enables you to set alerts, reminders, add items to your shopping list, make notes, control lights easily etc. You can also view the Alexa responses on the display of your smartwatch.

Coming to its display features, the Gen 6 Smartwatch sports a new dashboard which is more user-friendly. It comes in two design variants inspired by two of their best-selling smartwatches – Machine and Stella.

The Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch with its 45mm case  has a knurled top ring and pushers, which is a design nod to vintage industrial machining methods. The traditional design comes with a brushed, 3-link bracelet, mesh bracelet, leather strap, or silicone strap and is offered in black, silver-tone, or smoke.

The Gen 6 Hybrid Stella sports a 40.5mm case, coin-edge top ring, 150 hand-placed crystals on most designs, and bevelled mechanical hands are all part of its design. The smartwatch comes with a 3-link bracelet, mesh bracelet, leather strap, or silicone strap and is offered in rose gold tone, silver tone, and two-tone color schemes. The wearable features interchangeable watch faces as well. These are available in three colors- black, silvertone, smoke and the following bracelet types- brushed 3-link bracelet, mesh bracelet, leather strap or a silicone strap.

It has an integrated SpO2 sensor which helps to track the blood oxygen level and an enhanced heart rate monitor, turning out to be a boon for the health freaks out there.

It supports Bluetooth version 5.0 and it is compatible with the smartphones running the latest versions of Android and iOS. It is also speculated to have a battery life of two week after charging.

The new smartwatch will be available on Fossil’s official website, other selected online platforms and Fossil retail stores. It will be priced from Rs.17,633 for silicone and leather strap smartwatches and from Rs. 19,173 for bracelet style smartwatches.
