Over four years ago Google Earth was launched to inform people and give them some perspective on the distances that stretch across our planet and even further. Now, the program is further expanding with a new feature that lets you measure the two points of any surface area.
The Measure Tool will let you select the borders of the selected area, perfect for more complex-shaped areas. The tool will definitely be useful to students, engineers, or anyone with limited access to quick measuring tools in real time. Google says the Measure tool is now available on Chrome, and its Android version will roll out later this week while the iOS counterpart will be “coming soon”.
