Google Keep might allow the users to resize the window of apps on their Android smartphone. This development comes a few days after Google announced that it would bring a new feature to its note-taking app on Wear OS with customisable tiles that can be pinned.

Google Keep to support resizing app windows

According to a report by Android Authority in collaboration with tipster Assemble Debug, Google might soon introduce a feature that will allow users to change the size of Google Keep Windows on Android. As of now, you can neither maximize the windows or resize the Google Keep Windows to preset dimensions. As part of an APK teardown of the Google Keep app version 5.24.222.01.90, the feature that will enable users to resize Windows has been spotted by the publication.

How can you access the feature?

To access the feature, you have to head over to a new sliding pane layout. This sliding pane can be used to customize Windows without any fixed ratios. However it is to be noted that all smartphones will not be able to support this feature. Devices which have a pixel density higher than 600 ppi might be able to support the feature for resizable Google Keep Windows, as stated by the report. The tech giant has not yet said anything about when they are planning to roll out the support for resizing Google Keep on Android.
