Some exciting news for all android users out there!

Google is yet again all set to launch one of the most awaited releases of this year – Google Pixel Watch. (Finally!!)

After the release of Pixel 6 later in the month of July 2022, Google is all set to release the much anticipated Pixel Watch. This is going to be an icing on the cake for all the Pixel users, android and smartwatch users.

After the electrifying, exhilarating and mind-boggling effect that Google has created amongst its consumer base with its own Pixel series of smartphones, it is now all set to unveil its very own smartwatch- which is speculated to be an absolute treat for its users.

The much-hyped Pixel Watch was unveiled at Google’s developer conference, Google I/O. The Google Pixel Watch is all set to release this coming fall, mainly in October, alongside the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro .

It is said to be the new advanced android compatible smartwatch which is developed with the hardware focus of Google’s Pixel line.

It is speculated to be the new competitor to the Apple Watch in the Android world, but will it? Only time will tell.

It will come with a sleek circular body along with a domed display, a stainless steel design, a tactile crown on the right side and some solid black bezels and a bright display.

It is also equipped with quite a lot of sensors on the back- heart rate, SpO2, sleep monitoring, pedometer among the others. It’s simple design and look make it distinct as compared to all other smart watches.

The new Google Pixel Watch is also the fruit of the collaboration between Google’s hardware team and Fitbit fitness tools and features, which Google acquired in the year 2019. This is a collaboration we all have been waiting eagerly for.

The Pixel Watch will run on Google’s Wear OS version 3.1. It has interchangeable silicone bands in a variety of colors.

Google Pixel Watch will support Google Assistant, Google Wallet, Google HomeApp Support and also the Fitbit integration.

It is also said to support Bluetooth and LTE cellular connectivity. The three models that have already passed the Bluetooth SIG certification are – GWT9R, GBZ4S and GQF4C.

It also has a battery life of 300mAh, which is greater than Samsung Galaxy Watch 4’s 247mAh battery, implying that it should last around 24 hours or so.

Since no price has yet been mentioned for this watch we can take a guess that it may cost around $400 or more, give or take.

STAND-OUT FEATURE:

Google Pixel Watch is set to have its own Smart Unlock feature. With the help of this feature you can let a Bluetooth device keep an Android phone unlocked if the device is in range. But it is only specific to WearOS devices. A prompt will appear which shows that the device has been unlocked by the smartwatch on its display and also shows an option to re-lock the device.
