Google reveals its new Stadia for playing games

Phil Harisson, Google Stadia’s Vice President and GM, posted in a blog post about the new Stadia that is created to have access to games on any type of screens such as TV, PC, laptop, mobile phones, and tablet.

Google Stadia has a personalized x86 processor that runs at 2.7GHz with 10.7 teraflops of power and 56 compute units of GPU. The storage has 16GB of RAM that has a transfer speed up to 484GB per seconds and L2+L3 cache of 9.5MB. Stadia is offering a game resolution of the 4K video, 60 frames per second with HDR and surround sound features, but it will be updated up to 8K with 120+ fps in the future.

Harisson also unveiled the Stadia controller that can be connected through Wi-FI. The upcoming controller will include a button for instant capture, saving, and sharing gameplay with up to 4K resolution. It is supported with Google Assistant button and microphone.

The company has not yet confirmed if the new devices will be available in the future because it has not been authorized by the Federal Communications Commission.
