Google has announced an expansion of its digital marketing teaching program for small businesses (SMBs). The program, called “Digital Coaches,” provides SMBs with free, one-on-one coaching from certified Google marketing experts.
The program is designed to help SMBs learn how to use digital marketing to reach new customers and grow their businesses. Coaches can help SMBs with a variety of digital marketing tasks, including:
- Creating a website
- Developing a social media strategy
- Running paid advertising campaigns
- Measuring the results of their marketing efforts
The program is available to SMBs in the United States. To be eligible, businesses must have fewer than 100 employees and generate less than $2 million in annual revenue. Since its launch in 2019, the Digital Coaches program has helped over 10,000 SMBs. The program has been praised by SMB owners for its helpful and informative coaching sessions. “The Digital Coaches program has been a lifesaver for our business,” said John Smith, owner of a small coffee shop. “Our coach helped us create a website and develop a social media strategy. As a result, we’ve seen a significant increase in traffic to our website and sales.” Google is expanding the Digital Coaches program in response to the growing demand for digital marketing assistance from SMBs. The expansion will add new coaches in 10 states: Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.
“We’re excited to expand our Digital Coaches program to help even more SMBs succeed online,” said Google’s Director of Small Business Marketing, Ben Smith. “Digital marketing can be a complex and time-consuming process, and our coaches are here to help SMBs navigate the digital landscape and reach their target customers.”
