A new app in the Google Workspace suite, Google Vids is an AI-powered film creation tool from Google. Alongside other well-known Google products like Docs, Sheets, and Slides, this new application will be a component of cloud-native solutions. Google hopes to simplify professional video production with Vids.

According to Google, Vids is intended to revolutionize the way that narrative is done in the workplace. It can be used, for instance, by HR to introduce new hires to the company culture, by training departments to create digital learning resources, or by sales professionals to interact with prospective customers.

How do you use Google Vids?

In addition to the raw data needed to be displayed in the video, the user must supply a few simple instructions. Then, utilizing a variety of templates, they can select a certain video style. In order to simplify the video’s comprehension, they can also select a voice-over. If you want to make quick edits, you may also work together and share the movie with other people. All that’s left to do is click “Create.”

According to Google’s announcement, this new application is presently being tested by a small number of testers in Google Workspace Labs and will soon be made available to all other Workspace users.

Google Vids tackles the difficulty of making videos. With the help of an easy-to-use interface, users can create storyboards, put together scenarios using a variety of stock films, photos, and music, and even add voiceovers. To finalize the output, the tools can also be utilized in conjunction with other team members.

Google Vids provides small businesses with an affordable way to produce engaging video content without requiring expensive equipment or specialist knowledge.

Time and money can be saved by utilizing Google Vids’ AI-powered features, which include scenario suggestion and automatic storyboard creation.

Apart from Google Vids, Google has revealed more AI-driven improvements to its Workspace portfolio, encompassing dedicated paid options for AI-driven communication, meetings, and safety.
