Developer 343 Industries announced on Friday that the collaborative test flight of Halo Infinite’s online campaign is finally live. As part of the trial, you can play the campaign with three friends, and the game supports cross-play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The test also includes a mission replay feature that was not included in the game at launch.

Before entering Zeta Hall with your friends, you should know that you will start a new campaign in this trial. Any progress you make in the retail game will not carry over and anything you earn during the trial will not be reflected in your retail. But if you haven’t played a Halo Infinite campaign in a while, starting a new one with your friends can be a fun reason to get back into the game. 343 Industries detailed what to expect during testing in a detailed blog post last month, and the developer even has a dedicated support page for the plane on its website. Note that Steam players can only play the trial if they have received an invitation. Halo Infinite’s network campaign co-op test flight is finally live, developer 343 Industries announced Friday. As part of the test, you’ll be able to play the campaign with up to three of your friends, and the game supports crossplay across Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. The test also includes a mission replay feature, which wasn’t included with the game at launch.

343 Industries originally planned to start testing the week of July 11th, and while that technically happened, it’s a little later than you might expect. The contest ends August 1st at 1:00pm EST. We don’t know exactly when the co-op campaign or Mission Replay will be officially released, but 343 Industries said in a roadmap released in April that it’s aiming for “late August.” The time for split-screen co-op on this map is listed as “TBD”.
