Road to VR posted a report about the new VR headset of HP that will be a Windows Mixed Reality headset, which will have the same quality.
The upcoming VR headset has a codename, which is “Copper” and the design will be a slim, top-strap with sleek headphones fixed to the headband. The front of the device has a heathered material, where the front cameras are located. The Copper will have 2160 x 2160 resolution display per eye, which is said to have more than pixels that the other models such as Odyssey+ and Rift. The lenses have sharper than the Odyssey+.
Road to VR added “Copper has a fit and feel that’s much like the Rift, with a velcro side-strap on either side of the head, as well as the top strap, and rigid spring-loaded struts which make it easier to put on and remove the headset without re-adjusting the fit every time.”
HP has not yet confirmed the release date and the price of the next generation VR headset.
