At MWC 2019, Huawei announced its first foldable phone that has a flexible design, sleek, and slim display.
According to GSM Arena, the new Huawei Mate X has a 6.6 inch AMOLED display 161.3 x 78.3 x 11 mm dimensions with a resolution of 1148 x 2480p and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 when folded while unfolded AMOLED display has an 8 inch 161.3 x 146.2 x 5.4 mm dimensions with a resolution of 2200 x 2480p. The Mate X runs with Android 9.0 Pie and octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset. The triple rear camera has 40MP f/1.8 wide angle + 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide + 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with Leica optics, dual-LED dual-tone flash, panorama, and HDR features. The built-in Li-Po battery has a capacity of 4,500mAh with fast charging and Huawei SuperCharge features. The storage has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM with a Nano memory card slot that can be expanded up to 256GB.
The company has not yet confirmed the launch date and price of the upcoming Mate X.
