According to the update of The Hollywood Reporter, Instagram users who have high-profile such as artists, businessmen, and public figure, are testing out a new feature.

The said “creator account” feature is being tested by some high-profile individuals with new tools that will help them to filter their direct messages such as selecting notes from a sender. The creator will also have an access to mark read, unread, and flagged their received messages. Instagram also has a tool that will show growth insights which will include who followed and unfollowed the user. The upcoming growth insights tool will help creators to know their new followers and who unfollowed them, in weekly and daily data.

According to Ashley Yuki, Product Manager of Instagram, the company wants to be assured that the app is the best place, and easiest place, to create fan communities and also construct personal brands.

The new feature is expected to launch next year.
