On Monday, iVOOMi Energy, a domestic maker of electric two-wheelers, introduced a brand-new e-scooter. The ‘JeetX’ scooter’s starting price in India is Rs 99,999. The JeetX high-speed e-scooter by iVOOMi is available as built in India, RTO registered, and ARAI Certified.

The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has approved iVOOMi JeetX. Its top speed is 70 Kmph, according to a press release from ARAI. The JeetX and JeetX180 are the two iterations of this e-scooter that the business will be selling following its introduction.

Sunil Bansal, MD and co-founder of iVOOMi, gave remarks at the unveiling of the JeetX e-scooter. “We at iVOOMi continually endeavour to cater to the consumers with our indigenous innovation”. The company is working to stabilise itself while advancing its research and development. It wants to produce an EV that is best suited to the conditions in India. We believe that these extremely strong, domestic e-scooters will help people get over their range apprehension. Additionally, it will increase the dependability of EVs.

In India’s high-speed electric scooter market, iVOOMi’s JeetX will compete with models like Ola S1 Pro, and Bajaj Chetak. However, scarlet Red, Ink Blue, Posh White, and Space Grey are the 4 colour choices for the new e-scooter.

Beginning on September 1, 2022, reservations for the JeetX series will be accepted at the iVOOMi dealership. The price will range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.4 lakh, depending on the version. Distribution of the ordinary JeetX variant would start on 1 September only. However, the delivery of the JeetX180 variant would happen by the end of September.
