JioSaavn, the music streaming platform under Jio announced two new premium subscription plans. This plan aims to cater to families and partners. The JioSaavn Duo plan allows two users to access the platform at 129 INR per month and the JioSaavn family plan allows six years to access the account at 149 INR per month.

JioSaavn launched the two new premium subscription plans so that a single subscription plan is capable of accommodating up to six users. This plan aims to reduce the billing price of the music streaming application thus making it economical for the users. The JioSaavn Duo plan allows two users to access the platform at 129 INR per month and the JioSaavn family plan allows six years to access the account at 149 INR per month. This, in turn, will bring down the price spent by an individual for the platform to 25 INR, per person and per month. In their official post, JioSaavn says, “Now add up to 5 family members to your account (5+1) or your loved one (1+1) to enjoy ad-free music, unlimited JioTunes (for Jio users), and unlimited downloads starting at INR 149 (for Family) and INR 129 (for Duo)”. Such plans are already available on other platforms like YouTube Music and Spotify.

Since this is a premium subscription plan, users can enjoy certain benefits. Users who will subscribe to the JioSaavn Duo or family plan will be able to experience ad-free music, unlimited offline downloads and unlimited Jiotunes for the Jio users. Besides, these new plans come with an additional benefit of higher bit-rate music streaming which lets the users enjoy enhanced audio quality. Currently, the platform has over 80 million songs that include exclusive as well as original audio content.
