Mahindra states that it will be making an announcement on its upcoming line-up of “Born Electric” SUVs on Independence Day. For the same, the carmaker released a teaser showing 5 new electric SUVs. There is a chance that these SUVs might premiere on that day. The company officials released a statement. We could see four of these SUVs latest by 2027. However, it is believed that Mahindra will unveil the new XUV400 EV in September, 2022.
Mahindra shows off the concept of new electric SUVs
Mahindra showed off the concepts from different angles. The first SUV seems to be a small one with svelte proportions. Additionally, it features a flowing contour that finishes at the bottom of a back window with a strong slant. Overall, the concept gives the impression of being from a contemporary crossover.
The second image seems to be of a mid-size SUV with a more conventional SUV aspect. A flat, upright front, a roofline with a slight taper, and an upright tailgate are the most noticeable design features. The third image has a small SUV which comes with a more vertical roof. Somehow we can find out that this model is less taper at the back pillar.
The roofline of the fourth SUV seems to be a full-fledged SUV-coupe. The roofline elegantly flows from the a-pillar to the rear mirror of the vehicle. There is a point where the tapering rear pillar meets the SUV’s trailing edge.
The fifth SUV seems to have sleekiest design among all. It comes with a more aerodynamic profile and a fastback-like shape. The roof line is also significantly flatter, and the nose is distinct from the previous SUV-coupe design. However, the nose resembles the second and third models.
