While some Apple fans were not happy with his comments, Zuckerberg clarified that he was not being dismissive. He believes in acknowledging the strengths and weaknesses of competing products. In a conversation with the Morning Brew Daily podcast, Zuckerberg emphasized that he takes Apple seriously. He presented facts as he sees them today and did not rule out the possibility of Apple making improvements in future iterations of their products. However, he also asserted Meta’s commitment to continuous improvement and suggested that his company might progress at a faster pace.

Zuckerberg highlighted the phenomenon of die-hard Apple fans, describing it as amusing. He sees healthy competition as beneficial, driving Meta’s teams to innovate and improve their offerings. He expressed confidence in Meta’s ability to succeed and stated his dedication to winning in the market.

Regarding the comparison between Meta’s Quest 3 and Apple’s Vision Pro, Zuckerberg pointed out certain trade-offs made by Apple to achieve higher resolution. Some customers have voiced similar sentiments, citing concerns about the Vision Pro’s design, motion blur, and app ecosystem, especially considering its price of $3,500.
