According to a report cited on Monday by employees who are familiar with the matter, Meta is now working on exploring the realm of earphones which are powered by Artificial Intelligence and have cameras. Several companies, starting from conglomerates to startups, are looking forward to developing wearable devices which are powered by artificial intelligence. This is because of the growing enthusiasm which people have exhibited for AI and the respective sector.
The report says that the parent company of Facebook expects the device to perform various innovative functions such as identifying objects and translating foreign languages. This product is to be explored under the name of Camerabuds. Therefore, to sum up, Meta is now exploring AI powered earphones that have cameras called camerabuds. The Camera Buds will be able to identify objects and translate language.

Last year in September, Meta announced the launch of the new generation smart glasses by Ray-Ban. The smart glasses will now also have AI features built in it which will give the device the ability to provide the user with information on the item that they are looking at.
