Microsoft has rebranded their news platform from MSN to Microsoft News, which will be available in form of iOS and Android apps, and will be automatically included as a default feature in several Microsoft devices.

Microsoft News Editor-In-Chief Rob Bennett says in a blog post, “Microsoft News is the new name for our news engine that powers familiar sites like MSN.com, and our newly redesigned Microsoft News app for iOS and Android. Microsoft News also powers news on Microsoft Edge, the News app in Windows 10, Skype, Xbox and Outlook.com.”

The service will curate news suited for each user via “publishing partnerships, human editors, and AI,” and will aggregate news from many of the leading and credible news outlets in the world including The Guardian, The New York Times, Le Monde, Kyodo News, and Die Welt among others.

Both the iOS and Android app are now available to download.
